Since this was my very first DE, I was anxious all week waiting for the weekend to arrive.  Finally, on Friday evening, I caravanned to College Station, TX with four other HCRPCA members (Richard Pankhurst, Jim Garrett, Laura Rheams, and Adrienne Boer). On the way, three Texas state troopers pulled us all over just to say "hi" (but that's another story...  ;-).  Upon arriving in College Station, I checked into the Manor House Inn, one of the local hotels frequented by the PCA drivers.
