The first order of business for arriving drivers was registration and tech certification by the PCA National Scrutineers. Next came a driver's meeting conducted by Dick Lane, PCA National Steward... ..and a "chalk-talk" by LSR's Stan Wenger on the TWS track.

...and technical inspections done for the night... ...the next order of business was meeting new friends to discuss the race, or to just contemplate the day ahead.

On Friday morning, LSR's Eric Goeres assisted the National Scrutineers to complete tech inspections from the night before. LSR's Stan Wegner discusses the program with race officials from National.

Drivers prep'd their cars and conferred with each other in the paddock and garage areas. The schedule covered practice on Friday, sprint races on Saturday, and the Enduro on Sunday.

...onto the road course. There are several places at TWS where you can get up close to the action. The entry to turn 3 is one of them...

...and turn 10, a decreasing radius known as the "carousel" is another.

From the same point you are also close to the entry for turn 11. Turn 15 brings the cars onto the front straight to the start / finish line.
