Summary of the Rules of the Road - Click Here for the Complete Judging Rules:

1
Within the scope of LSR Concours events, we are judging the quality of a vehicle’s appearance, not its style; therefore, we have attempted to divide classes based on a little common sense and practical knowledge of the cars and their histories. The P9 class will always include the newest cars, which - independent of model - will always be comparable in scoring terms.
2
There must be more than 2 cars to form a separate class. If less than 2 cars are entered in a class, they will be combined with another class, at the sole discretion of the Concours Committee.
3
Due to the span of model years included in certain classes, a mileage adjustment (points added to higher mileage cars) may be made. This will be announced for each specific concours.
4
LSR Concours events are “topside” only. Inside fender wells and the undercarriage are not judged. Originality is not judged.
5

Porsches are judged using standard score sheets for cleanliness and condition in four areas:

  • Engine and Engine Compartment
  • Exterior
  • Interior
  • Trunk/Storage Area
6
There will be one judge for each area of inspection listed above. Each judge will have 4 minutes to inspect and will do so concurrently with the other judges.
7
Trophies will be presented to the Class winners at each event. All participants will receive a ribbon for attendance.

There is $20.00 entry fee for each Concours event (Local LSR Series) regardless of Class. This fee covers the trophies for each concours and for the year-end class winners (if this competition is held). Fees for meals, technical sessions or other events held in conjunction with the concours are extra.
